Summer study offers options

Published

Several sessions and additional classes will be available for more flexible course scheduling this summer.

More sections of classes have been added to the summer schedule, which includes: a full, eight-week summer session; two, four-week sessions; two, three-week sessions; and a two-week intersession.

Summer courses allow students to earn a degree more quickly, concentrate on a difficult subject or retake courses to boost their GPA.

鈥淪tudents also like the convenience of the shorter formats,鈥 said Dr. DeWayne Bowie, UL Lafayette vice president of Enrollment Management.
