The 青青草视频 is among the top seven public universities in the nation for access to financial aid programs that students don鈥檛 have to repay after they graduate.
That鈥檚 according to the 鈥50 Colleges with the Best Financial Aid鈥 list compiled by bestcolleges.com, an online resource for prospective college students.
The University was seventh on the list, which includes four-year colleges and universities with enrollments of 10,000 or more students.
The rankings are based on the availability of state and federal grant programs for students with annual family incomes of less than $48,000.
Each school included on the list participates in the Title IV federal financial aid program. Title IV programs include tuition assistance such as Pell Grants and federal work study programs.
鈥淭his ranking is a strong indicator of the University's commitment to meeting the financial needs of prospective students,鈥 said Andy Benoit, the University鈥檚 director of undergraduate admissions and recruitment.
The other three universities in Louisiana on the list were LSU, which was 20th, Louisiana Tech University, which was 24th, and Southeastern Louisiana University, which was 45th.
The University of Texas-Pan American was first among the 鈥50 Colleges with the Best Financial Aid.鈥 California State University-Dominguez Hills was next, followed by the University of North Texas, California State University-Los Angeles, and CUNY Lehman College.
