The 青青草视频 is among the top 443 colleges and universities in the nation.
That鈥檚 according to U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 2022-2023 edition of 鈥淏est Colleges.鈥 The annual guidebook was released today. It assists prospective students and their parents with decisions about which colleges to attend.
U.S. News & World Report assessed 1,500 four-year colleges and universities. UL Lafayette was tied with a host of other schools at number 169 in the public universities category, and at number 331 in the national universities category.
National universities emphasize research and offer bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 best national universities are based on the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. Within the Carnegie classification, UL Lafayette is designated as a Research University with Very High Research Activity.
U.S. News & World Report compiles rankings based on a variety of factors, including an institution鈥檚 academic reputation, graduation and retention rates, faculty resources, social mobility, student/faculty ratio, ACT/SAT scores of admitted students and alumni giving.
The 2022-2023 edition of 鈥淏est Colleges鈥 publishes school profiles that provide information on academic and campus life, application requirements, financial aid, degrees offered and tuition.
In addition to national rankings, the guidebook also includes rankings in a range of other categories.
Among academic programs, UL Lafayette earned high marks for undergraduate computer science programs (tied for No. 172); undergraduate engineering programs at schools that grant doctoral degrees (tied for No. 196); undergraduate nursing programs (tied for No. 172) and undergraduate business programs (tied for No. 219).
The University was also recognized in the top performers on social mobility category (tied for No. 282).
